Dear Masada Music Ministries & Franco Presents,

Thanks for your email. Be A HERO is a registered charity in USA, Canada, and Australia. Our mandate is to educate and inspire people to "Be A HERO" to the 1.2 billion children at risk due to poverty, homelessness, child labour, slavery, sexual exploitation, aids and plagues, and war. We encourage everyone to become involved in some way - by sponsoring a child; partnering in the construction of a children's home, school, medical clinic, or refugee housing; becoming an advocate; contributing towards disaster relief; or going on a "Hero Holiday" to see first-hand the reality of poverty and deprivation.

We partner with those who are working "out in the field", providing them with a voice in the Western world. Heidi Baker (Iris Ministries) is one of the organizations we partner with, raising child sponsorships and, most recently, disaster relief aid for their work in Mozambique.

It would be wonderful if you could raise child sponsorships at your event. Perhaps you might want to consider not just sponsorships for Heidi's kids, but open it up as some of the attendees may wish to sponsor a child in another country. We have sponsorships available for children in many African countries, Asia, India, South and Central America, and EasternEurope.

I can provide you with a slide show of photos, promo dvds, banners, and brochures. We have a very simple system for people to sign up to sponsor a child -
1) they fill in a form
2) give us their credit card info for automatic monthly payments or a VOID cheque for automatic monthly withdrawals
3) you could collect all these forms at a booth and mail them to us.
4) we mail them a photo and a profile of a child.

Important note: Heidi looks after so many kids (around 5000) that the sponsor will not support an individual child (they will not receive a photo and profile). Their sponsorship will go to the Home, contributing to the care of all the children at the Children's Home.
